 Principal functions:

¨                  Monitor and evaluate data on programmes and policies related with Health and Family Welfare

 ¨                  Undertake the research studies in the field of public health and family welfare, socio-economic and demographic aspects and reproductive health

 ¨                  Generation and documentation of data for area specific needs by conducting field surveys

 ¨                  Reporting and dissemination of data and research finding for policy interventions

 ¨                  Analysis and interpretation of data provided by other sources like CENSUS, SRS, NFHS and RCH-RHS
