Department of Adult Education
The Department of Adult, Continuing Education was established in Dr. Hari Sing Gour University, Sagar in the year 1984 with the objective to discharge it's responsibilities to the entire educational system and the society as a whole ,this objective could only be achieved by assuring extensions as a third dimension and giving it the same status as research and teaching in the University system.
This extension was giving top priority in Higher Education, t5he main thrust area of extension was to serve himself directly and to the nation indirectly.
having these goals to achieve, this Department was actively involved to equip the society with the help of extension activities/programme as per the guidelines of the Commission.
